Tryon Patient Portal Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions on Appointments and Scheduling
Can my physical or Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) be done by another physician who is not my primary care physician?
No, your annual physical or annual wellness visit must be completed by your physician or someone on their care team.
Do I need an appointment for blood work?
No appointment is needed for blood work. Reach out to your clinician via the Patient Portal a week before your appointment. This is to request the lab orders.
(Please be aware that not all clinicians will do labs before your appointment and prefer to do these at the time of your office visit, so have this conversation with your clinician or care team.)
My physician has left Tryon Medical Partners. What do I do now?
Our Tryon Patient Connect team can assist you in establishing care with another clinician. If you received a letter about your physician leaving, you can also scan the QR code to schedule through our MedChat feature on the website.
What is your cancellation policy? When will you be considered a “no-show”?
Your medical record will reflect a “no-show” appointment when you:
- Don’t arrive for your appointment at all.
- Cancel after 5 p.m. the preceding business day before your scheduled appointment.
A $50 no-show fee will be applied to your account. More than three no-shows may result in dismissal from the practice. Learn more about Tryon’s no-show policy.
